iCompressIt is a free, client-side image compression and conversion tool. It allows users to compress and convert images (including JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, and other supported formats) directly inside their web browser.

All processing is performed locally on the user’s device using browser technologies such as the HTML5 Canvas API, FileReader API, and Blob URLs. No image files are uploaded to our servers.

The Service is provided free of charge and does not require registration or an account.

2. No Uploads & Privacy

A core feature of iCompressIt is that image processing occurs entirely on your device. We do not receive, store, transmit, or have access to the content of any images you process with the tool.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to process images that violate any applicable law or regulation
• Compress or convert images that infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights of third parties
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service for commercial redistribution
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers in a way that overloads or disrupts the Service
• Misrepresent the origin of the Service or remove any branding or notices
• Use the Service in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the website or interfere with other users

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, layout, code, text, graphics, logos, and overall look-and-feel, is owned by iCompressIt or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws.

You may use the Service for personal and commercial purposes (for example, compressing images for your own websites, client projects, or products). However, you may not:

The images you process remain your property (or the property of their rightful owners). We claim no rights over the content of your files.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

We do not guarantee that:

• The Service will be error-free, secure, or continuously available
• Compression results will meet your specific quality or size requirements in every case
• All image formats will be supported on every browser or device
• The Service will be free from bugs or technical limitations

You use the Service at your own risk. Always keep original copies of important images.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, iCompressIt and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Because image processing occurs entirely on your device, we have no control over and no liability for any loss or corruption of files that may occur during local processing.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless iCompressIt and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual-property rights

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may display advertisements (for example via Google AdSense) and may use analytics tools. These third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.
