iCompressIt ("icompressit.com") is a browser-based image compression tool. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.
2. Image Processing — No Server Uploads
Your images are never uploaded to our servers. All compression and conversion happens entirely within your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. We do not receive, store, process, or transmit your image files.
3. Information We Collect
We may collect anonymized, non-personal information: browser type, operating system, pages visited, and general geographic location (country level) — via standard analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to improve the service.
4. Email Subscriptions
If you subscribe for updates via the newsletter widget, your email address is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and optionally sent to our mailing service. You can unsubscribe at any time. We never share your email with third parties.
5. Cookies & Advertising
We use analytics and advertising cookies (e.g. Google AdSense). You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
6. Children's Privacy
iCompressIt is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
